Development:
This is my first time participating in a game jam and I had a few goals when I started:
- Complete first Game Jam.
- Become familiar with Unreal Engine.
- Complete "code" using only blueprints.
- Create a fun game.
In my first week of using Unreal Engine I believe I covered a lot. Hopefully the game is a bit of fun for you!
Credit: I am the sole Game developer, designer, and artist for this game.
The music used for the game belongs to: https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Komiku.
Process:
I developed the art assets first in MagicaVoxel then imported into Blender and finally imported into Unreal Engine. All of the game logic is done using Unreal Engine's blueprints and editor.
----------
Instructions to play:
Start the game through RockPaperScissors.exe and select the Arena level to learn the game.

Interesting concept but I dont understand what can kill what
Thanks for the feedback, I considered adding more detailed tooltips. Units have 100 health and they deal 50 damage to units of the same kind. Paper deals 100 damage to Rock, Rock deals 100 damage to Scissors, and Scissors deals 100 damage to Paper. Units that are countered by a specific unit (ex. Paper > Rock) deal no damage in return.
isnt the entire point of rts that even if scisors beats paper, enough paper beats scisors?
